Men will exploit a woman until she has nothing more to give and then turn around and pretend they don’t know her.
Lol she handed to him full album ready, with concept and everything, promoted him whole time, was present during his whole solo era, they keep in touch in military, girls visited his base, and they're friends with his squad, he wanted their payola, but didn't see it coming 😭

Who remembers the parable about the Christian, trapped by a deadly flood, who refuses rescue from a car, a boat and a helicopter, because he's counting on God to save his life? He dies, then asks God why He allowed him to die. God replies, "I sent a car, a boat and a helicopter."
Mother who didn't vaccinate her son for measles, which has now left him paralyzed and near death, and says she wouldn't have done anything differently: "There will be a miracle." There WAS a miracle you absolute moron, it was THE MEASLES VACCINE.

the real difference is Min Heejin was an EMPLOYEE so she was protected by the labor rights law, meanwhile NewJeans technically aren't considered as ones. This is why we need a new law that protects idol rights in contract dispute.
nothing proves the abusive nature of the kpop contract more than min heejin winning but newjeans losing AND ITS THE SAME EXACT FUCKING CASE.

Blizzard not pulling out all the stops to retain Arnold Tsang was a top 5 fumble of the last 10 years. For reference, Arnold did the vast majority of the iconic OW character design. Letting a talent like that simply leave to an NFT project is just ridiculous mismanagement.
The situation with Overwatch character design is one I've dreaded a long time since Arnold Tsang had left. The design philosophy around many of the early characters is influenced by Capcom and maintaining the nuance and clear differentiation across characters requires discipline.

Some reduce GRRM's work to overly pessimistic "modern literature" (I blame D&D). A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms might be the first adaptation of his work that manages to adapt the harsh reality of his world without forgetting the graciousness of which humans are capable of.

in the end, people think asoiaf is cynical because they can't tell the difference between a world where good does not exist and one where doing good is hard. the heroism and romanticism of asoiaf comes from characters who are kind in an unkind world.

I keep hearing that he was a nurse but I don't care if he was a pediatric surgeon or a euphonium player, cops can't be permitted to kill people in the streets with impunity, let alone illiterate terrorists cosplaying as fascist law enforcement

To be clear about what this depicts: An immigration officer threw a woman onto the ground. Alex Pretti, a registered nurse on scene as a legal observer, is filming and goes to help the woman up. He is then pepper sprayed and thrown to the ground for no discernible reason. Many
