The RDSEED issue has been now also patched on client CPUs and we have backported the amd microcode to our current linux-firmware. Some users might need to update their BIOS, since it requires signing, see: https://t.co/n5v8L6ftbb

Lets hope this will be fixed soon! AMD is working on an microcode fix and then there should be no issues anymore - as long the latest microcode is loaded. Otherwise, we would need to recompile the full znver4 repository, but we do not expect this to happen.

For now we are disabling the removal if "CONFIG_CACHY" is set in the kernel config. This could mean, users using the RC kernel on a non CachyOS Kernel would run into issues.

6.17 Kernel has been released! We are running the final tests before we will push it to the repository. The roll out will be staged and goes first in the znver4 optimized repository and then following to others so that we can do pretesting first before rolling it fully out!

Since you guys were always telling now how "bazzite was faster" or "cachyOS was faster" than Nobara. I am now delivering a video of the 9070 XT and 5080 tested in several Linux distros (since it seems nobody did it yet). Also retested Nobara with the 580 drivers on the NVIDIA
