Are people doing, have people done the move to BlueSky? I honestly only still have Twitter to network with entertainment folks and find jobs, and I can’t say I’m stoked to pick up another platform, but if the biz is, I will!

I think this is a forgotten piece from this time. It’s not just the hard time now, the instability now - but it’s the feeling that everything you’ve worked for, saved for, built towards over the last years is gone. And you’re back at Square 1.
Congrats to everyone involved with #SAGAFTRA … it’s a big moment. I ask that we all please hold awareness for the below the line workers who’ve lost so much. I heard a report that it may take 12-15 years for some to build back what they’ve lost. See you all on set. Back to 1.

The last Disney show I worked on as “support staff” altered my job title so they could pay me under union minimum and wanted me to not list overtime hours I worked. (In fact, I got in trouble early on because I was working too many hours a week/days in a row without a break.)
Disney CEO Bob Iger is on CNBC blaming striking writers for hurting support staff in the industry.

I'm incredibly proud of how transparent our union is. In the @WGAWest's strike announcement, we included a list of our proposals, and the AMPTP's responses. Read it for yourself: it explains in black and white we're forced to go on strike.
