The same goes for many digital roles. As there are no industry-wide recognised certificates or qualifications, and a lot of our work is subjective in quality, there is no consistent way of objectively comparing the capabilities of peers across the industry.
A Senior Designer at one business could so easily be a Junior at another. The inconsistency of expectation is wild.
