This is great! I've written before about how they should put this sort of thing into SL, giving people the option to personalise their avatar before they even sign into SL for the first time! If you're attached to your avatar before starting, you're less likely to abandon it.
New: Choose your starting avatar is now live when joining Second Life today! :)
