Not even Bitcoin users believe it's useful for peer to peer transactions -- we can see that by their own behavior. Despite there now being ~100M Bitcoin owners, only a tiny fraction (usually under 500K/day) transact with it. Despite numerous services supporting BTC transactions!
@slhamlet Or it is a solution to the Byzantine General's Problem employing a Nash Equilibrium to attack the dominant financial system and replace it with a currency that can't be debased and doesn't need banks, allowing humans to transact peer to peer around the globe?.
