BREAKING: Texas House just passed UNIVERSAL SCHOOL CHOICE. The vote was 85 to 63. The Senate already passed a similar bill 19 to 12. Texas will be the 16th state to pass universal school choice. This is the way.

Lost in all of the excitement over downsizing the @usedgov is that this wouldn't be the first time. There's precedent! A year after Andrew Johnson signed into law the Dept. of Ed in 1867, it was demoted to a small office of ed.
