Introducing Dr. Jan Rainey - 2025 CSMB Fellow. Dr. Jan Rainey is Professor in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Dalhousie University.

He has played a leading role in identifying new plasma membrane and organellar isoforms of the mammalian alkali cation/proton exchanger SLC9 gene family. Dr. Orlowski is a former President of CSMB. He has made many significant contributions to mentorship activities.

Introducing Dr. Imogen Coe - 2025 CSMB Fellow. She is Professor of Chemistry and Biology at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and an affiliate scientist at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. She is an active researcher and academic leader. She served as CSMB President 20-22.
