We have practically open Nazi apolpgists in the federal government enacting the opening lines of the "I didn't stand up for-" poem, and your main concern is *checks notes* the newly elected mayor of New York who's tepidly critical of Israel?

Don't get me wrong I don't like Maduro, but confirming all of his and Chavez's conspiracies isn't going to end well, not to mention the price paid in Venezuelan civilian blood.

I don't think an invasion of Venezuela is going to happen because I don't think Trump is that dumb, but if it does it's absolutely a bad thing.

The question isnât why there are over 40 million Americans on SNAP. The question is why so many people who are gainfully employed make so little that they qualify for it.

Lots of morally simple minded libs finding this post. Guys, this was aimed at leftists not y'all. Y'all don't automatically assume an entire class is inherently good except when they do stuff you don't like, it's not going to work on you.

It's all "material conditions" until the material conditions make the poor do something they don't like, then suddenly they're just inherently evil.

I donât think Platner is a Nazi but 1) the ads about the Dem having a Nazi tattoo play for themselves B) Working for Blackwater & having a Totenkopf are at the minimum suspicious C) it shows a poverty in judgement and knowledge that I donât want in a Senator
Don't care for Platner but it was fairly common during the height of the GWOT for boot Marines to get stupid tattoos like this because they looked cool. I know several Hispanic Marines who got the Nazi SS lightning bolts tattooed on their arms because they were in Scout Snipers.

It doesn't mean "middle class liberals who might actually be won over to an anti-capitalist view but I don't want to because liberals are icky."

Short little lesson. The petit bourgeois are the class that owns some means of production but not large quantities of capital. In Marx's day this was your artisans and small holdings farmers. Today it's small business owners.
communists absolutely do need to engage with the masses but the no kings marches are not "the masses." it's mostly petit bourgeois older white people who want a return to the pre-trump neoliberal status quo of global u.s. hegemony.

This is true! Kamala was also the nominee & many people's last hope against Trumpism. But compare those now still in the fight: DSA (60% favorable, +48) to Chuck Schumer (40%, +8).

It is funny that a Marxist is agreeing with far right revisionists that the aggressively expansionistic empire dominated by a Fascistic military-industrial complex is the innocent victim of genocide from the big evil American empire.

And another block. To clarify I do believe they've just got a very shallow understanding, not intentionally parroting Japanese fascist propaganda.
@FoxyMarxist Bringing up Hiroshima and Nagasaki and not the half dozen other cities that got firebombed really reveals you're either very poorly read on the subject or straight up parroting Japanese far right propaganda.

Turns out that carrying a great big anarchist flag at a protest makes a lot of people approach you and ask you about anarchism Turns out that actually going outside and making your beliefs visible will attract onlookers to ask about your beliefs

look man, for better or worse, there really isnât an appetite anymore for actual armed leftism, so you either figure out how to work with where people are actually at or you just snidely post Kwame Ture quotes as though thatâs doing something constructive

whatâs hilarious about the anti No Kings people is like, I was just at DCâs protest and Bernie gave a speech where every line was met with raucous applause. These people are your closest political allies, and your biggest complaint with them is thatâtheyâre cringeâ

America poured tons of resources into rebuilding those countries and proving why fascism was wrong. Not just bombing the crap out of them and either deporting them or leaving them to rot.
Japan and Germany were devastated during WW 2 Their children didnât become terrorists Stop making excuses for terrorists
