ICYMI: Last week, teachers voted overwhelmingly against the final offer put forward by government. It's time to see real commitment to address class size and complexity. Watch the full news conference: https://t.co/OmZqGbYl4M #WeAreSTF

Our members have spoken. It's time for @jeremycockrill and @SaskSchoolBoard to finally take this process and these issues seriously, and work with teachers in good faith to address the crisis occurring in Saskatchewan public schools. #WeAreSTF

The fact is there is NO CHANCE SK teachers accept this deal. NS teachers getting this deal really shows what SK teachers will continue to be fighting for. Supports for kids and a professional wage that will bring SK’s finest youth into the profession.

Anybody else super frustrated by the lead story this morning on CTV that notes that school divisions releasing their new budgets say they DON’T have enough money to address class size and complexity? WHY did they sign the MFA? This is exactly why teachers struck this year!

After 3 empowering days at the annual meeting of council teachers made some clear points: 1) We are the STF and fully support our President Samantha Becotte 2)The “final offer” Package needs to be a hard NO!!

School divisions are now starting to sound the alarm. At best, the recent “increases” will be status quo. Worse, it will be cuts. The government is intentionally obfuscating the numbers. They are much worse than they seem. #SendAStrongNOToMoe #WeAreSTF

Would it be the ‘largest’ if @PremierScottMoe had not taken $400million out of Edu previously?

@PremierScottMoe Province not committing to fully fund teachers' new contract https://t.co/Pxle5Wplu8 Sorry we’ll need to see that in the collective agreement so you don’t renege again #CantTrustThem

The @SaskParty gov’t & @SaskSchoolBoard prov. leadership are avoiding fulfilling their responsibilities. Gov’t doesn’t want long term funding, SSBA doesn’t want accountability for the decisions. This should be about what students deserve, not about individual political interests.

Just for some context: This man, @jeremycockrill, Minister of Ed, with a bachelor's degree and just over 3 years served as an MLA, makes over $160,548 per year + mileage, meal allowances, etc. If he was a teacher he would make $67,793. #makenoise4ed #skpoli

True story about Moe. He came as part of 🇨🇦 COP22 delegation. I worked w him on Sask issues with Morocco over lentils & promoted Boundary Dam. I also gave Moe numbers that showed he could use revenues from carbon pricing to eliminate PST. He came back & threw fed govt under bus.
