Alberta teachers make $15,000 more and are going to strike because a 12% wage increase offer is not acceptable even though they make $15,000 more than a SK teacher. This just shows how poorly SK teachers have been compensated.

SK teachers continue to be the lowest paid in western Canada. In Manitoba a teacher with a B. Ed is a class 5 and in Saskatchewan they are a Class 4 (same teachers) A 10 year highly qualified experienced teacher is making $12000 dollars more a year in Manitoba than Sk

When people ask me what political point of view I am I say “on what issue”, it’s not a blanket all one way and don’t listen to the other. Stop acting like children and start listening and talking again.

Here’s a fun fact build pipelines, open up Canada’s economy to the world, encourage investment in Canada, also protect women’s right to chose, increase public wages, and realize their are crazy people on the right and left. This pick a side bullshit needs to end.

Honest question why are we paying the Governor General of Canada $1 million dollars a year through wage, staffing, and allowances? Why are we paying the same for each lieutenant governor in each prov/terr? Honestly we have Docusign technology, a Canadian subscription is less.

Just like to thank the 55% of teachers that rejected the governments “final offer” deal that had ZERO classroom complexity in the contract. The reason that we now have a contract with that language is 100% because of those Brave teachers that said enough is enough! Thank you!!!

Had a friend suggest this: As the cost of living in Saskatoon and Regina sky rocket higher than rural SK, should the cities be charging more for people using the facilities and amenities that do not live within them? Seems the tax base is compensating for everyone else. Thoughts?

Western Canadian teaching averages Manitoba is currently the highest paid with $103,000 per year, second is Alberta with $102,000 per year, third is BC with $101,000 per year and SK is last with $87,000.

After SK teachers signed their new contract they are still the lowest paid in western Canada and it’s not even close. And we all need to stop saying well it’s cost of living. Fun fact a teacher living in Saskatoon(way higher cost of living) vs one living in Midale make the same

Has anyone followed how much money @BradWall306 has made for selling out our kids for his corporate donors then turning around and getting a corporate job afterwards. No big deal it’s only our kids.

Nothing to see here just Scott Moe and the SK party only caring about their donors and not the SK People. This clown show needs to end.

The SK Party once again is saying that our students are worthless. They have decided to cut education property tax huge for Agriculture and Resources, both incredibly wealthy industries. This is right on par with the SK Party. It’s time for change!

The cut will result in $100 million less for education from property taxes.

Imagine being conservative trump lap dogs like @PremierScottMoe and @ABDanielleSmith telling people don’t worry this is all only about the border. 😂🥴 time for Sk and Alberta to get some real leadership again that actually cares about people.

The new bind arbitration contract has created a clause for class complexity and has established a mechanism for 515 new teachers to be hired for next year. What a great thing for our kids, Watch the SK Party change the funding formula so all these new teachers don’t get created.

All provinces and territories sign on to help kids, except Sask and Alberta. Getting pretty tired of Scott Moe caring more about potash than our kids. It’s time for the SK Party to go!

Huge win for education!!! Class complexity is not solved at all, but now teachers can start holding government accountable. This is still a government issue!!!!

Huge win for education today as the arbitrator deemed and award class complexity language and money value into the new binding arbitration agreement today.

Trump is an absolute embarrassment. The people of the USA voted to see change for inflation and cost of living and immigration problems, not this revolving clown show. I feel sorry for the US people, what a terrible image their country is.

The SK Party taking 1 Billion $ from the federal government for $10 a day daycare and facilities and then lumping that dollar amount into K-12 education and pretending they spend $1 billion more on our school kids is criminal and is right on par with Sk Party deception.

To be clear anything less than a 10% increase this year will be more cuts to school divisions and more cuts for our kids, based on enrolment increases, complexity needs, transportation costs, maintenance costs, staff salaries, etc.
