2025 Canadian Police and Peace Officers' Memorial #HeroesInLife

Yesterday, GSPS members stood with thousands from across Canada on Parliament Hill @CPPOM, united by a solemn purpose: to honour our fallen comrades who have died while performing their sworn duty to serve and protect. We remember them. We honour them. #HeroesInLife @HeroesInLife

I typically participate in the @BCLEMemorial every year, but this year I had the privilege of travelling to Ottawa for the @CPPOM, where the VPD had the honour of leading the parade and laying wreaths. Thank you to the @VancouverPD Ceremonial Unit for organizing our contingent.

We were honoured this weekend to have so many of our members attend the national Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day to express appreciation for the dedication of police and peace officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, and offer condolences to their families.

A powerful tribute on Parliament Hill for the @CPPOM ceremony on Sunday where thousands filled the lawn to honour, remember and mourn the loss of those who gave their lives to protect us.

Hamilton Police members were in Ottawa for the 48th Police and Peace Officers Memorial held on Parliament Hill. Three historical names were added to the wall of men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Approx. 100 Hamilton members marched to honour our fallen.
