It’s as simple as this ⬇️. The federal tax cuts mean CO is now expected to collect less taxes than it’s allowed to spend under the TABOR cap. It is not a cut in federal funding. @govofco called a special session so @coloradodems could raise your taxes without asking you!. #coleg.
If Trump and DC Republicans hadn't passed their Big Ugly Bill which undermines our bipartisan and cost-saving work in CO, we wouldn't be back for a special session at the #coleg. It's as simple as that. More questions answers and myths debunked here ⬇️ .
