We should be concerned about how private equity is reshaping US health care, write Professors @ysingh_hopkins and @CM_Whaley, but in their opinion in @thehill, they discuss why doctors are eager to hand off their practices, and for not just for the payday.

Hospital prices have risen more than any other product or service across the US economy says Prof @CM_Whaley, due to “increased concentration, better and more expensive technology and insurance coverage that lessens how much patients feel price increases.”
