The Sterling situation feels like one where there is no real point getting excited over any report that feels favourable for Chels. It'll almost certainly be someone taking advantage of our desperation in the last week(s) of the window.
🚨 Fulham have added Sterling to a list of targets but will wait until later in the window. (@mcgrathmike @TeleFootball)

has everyone conspired this summer to fuck on Newcastle or something?.
🚨🔵 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City agree deal to sign James Trafford as new goalkeeper, here we go!. Deal in place with Burnley under value of £40m buy back clause. Trafford said yes to Man City as Pep Guardiola wanted him. Newcastle are also informed about Trafford’s decision.

Really odd timing, most of the big clubs have already secured other targets and likely won't have the funds to facilitate such a deal - surely Saudi bound?. Unless they fancy a little Jackson + Nkunku swap. .
🚨💣 BREAKING: Alexander Isak has informed Newcastle of his desire to explore a move this summer. Club aware of player’s plans and will now decide how to move, as @CraigHope_DM reports. Newcastle have already re-started exploring a move for a top striker in the market. 👀

Might be speaking a bit too soon but our work on departures has been moving at a fantastic pace this summer with genuinely decent fees coming in, looking like a lot of lessons have been learned.
🚨⚪️🔴 SL Benfica are still working on a deal for Joao #Felix. There is progress. 25 y/o can leave Chelsea with a suitable offer. Contract until 2031. @SkySportDE 🇵🇹

Think KDH might be an easy one to sell - given his ECL and CWC performances, there will surely be a number of aspiring ECL level clubs that'll see him as a viable option. Definitely the right time to sell whilst he's on a relative high.
Fulham are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and have explored the conditions of a loan and permanent deal. (via @skysports_sheth)

these SDs are finally gonna get that swap deal they've been craving for years aren't they?.
🚨🔵 Chelsea and #Xavi Simons are getting closer, as revealed last night. A verbal agreement is near. Personal terms are not an issue, as Xavi is open to the Chelsea project. Very good talks also took place with RB Leipzig yesterday, with more scheduled for today. Now, RB are

This is exactly my worry and if there is a timeline that we're signing Simons AND Garnacho in addition to Gittens - we're in a very, very weird place. All really good players, not remotely sustainable, nor value adding, to have all of them - especially not for such high fees.
Chelsea still maintain an interest in Alejandro Garnacho as an option in case Manchester United want to open a proper negotiation for Nicolas Jackson. Chelsea would be open to doing a type of swap deal. (@FabrizioRomano) #CFC

I just think this is a simple case where you keep both and that's absolutely okay as you've the likes of Tosin there too. I love Chalobah, I think Fofana is a better player but that's irrelevant if he can't stay fit. Lead with Fofana and Chalobah still is an integral player.
🚨 Chelsea are open to offers for Trevoh Chalobah. This is because Fofana is seen as ahead of him and the player himself might decide his future is better served elsewhere. (@SJohnsonSport) #CFC.

The main reason I'm happy about this is that I'm terrified we get suckered into a Garnacho straight swap deal situation and lose a huge amount of value. Think Garnacho will go on to be a great player but the space just isn't there anymore for us.
Manchester United are not currently pursuing Nicolas Jackson. Situation will only change if finances of a potential deal alter significantly. Nothing active as it stands despite respect for the player.👇.

Still not sure I fully get this one tbh. Feels a bit in the Felix/Nkunku mould where he's not directly needed and may be a bit of an awkward fit in certain roles in the PL. A fine player for sure, I just don't see the pressing need personally but curious why others feel different.
🚨🔵 Xavi Simons has opened doors to Chelsea move after direct contacts with his camp!. Club to club talks will start from Tuesday as Chelsea-Leipzig will discuss deal conditions. For #CFC deal depends on outgoings. Arsenal remain also keen but Gyökeres and outgoings, priority.

football partisan behaviour aside, what's the point in this?. Caicedo has been consistently excellent throughout the entire season and has absolutely been the lynchpin to many wins, including against big sides. Can't work out why supporting one player means shitting on another.
Nobody watches a Chelsea game against a top side and goes away thinking, "Wow, Caicedo won that for them, didn't he, the bloody shin-kicker.".

somewhat the crux of the Noni situation for me - makes complete sense to opt for the opportunistic sale when you’ve invested 2/3 years and have lost confidence the underlying potential will be reached. It’s still a success story for all parties.
Had he signed for Newcastle or Liverpool post-Salah, I would have dreaded strengthening a direct rival. There's a lot in those numbers that indicates he could explode if he fixes things. The primary issue being he hasn't fixed a lot of those things over 2-and-a-half seasons.

I'm just not convinced Simons is a profile we particularly need and if you're planning to do so as a Nkunku replacement. I'd honestly just keep Nkunku.
🚨🇳🇱 Chelsea and Arsenal among clubs attentive to Xavi Simons situation this summer. He’s prepared to leave Leipzig as revealed since May and Premier League top clubs are informed. No bids or talks yet. Nothing concrete with Barça so far. 🎥
