Back in 2019, everyone agreed there's a "Climate Emergency"... If I call 999 with an emergency: fire engines, ambulances or police turn up promptly. But the Climate Emergency was declared, politicians need to act now.

What is the point of a Labour government? What was the point of voting to "get the Tories out"? What is the point of constituency MPs? Why have FPTP if your MP votes against his conscience and his constituency interests? Time to end FPTP and Make Votes Matter!

What is the point of having constituency MPs if they vote against their consciences and the views of their constituents, just because they are told to? Time to end first past the post, and do away with such sham positions.
This is pathetic. Jon Trickett is the only Labour MP to vote against the scrapping of winter fuel payments to pensioners who desperately need it. The tears of Labour MPs won't stop pensioners from freezing to death. Some of the Labour MPs crying will end up purged anyway.

When the PM says "we must endure more economic pain", he doesn't mean himself, or his MP colleagues, or those with lots of money or a high income. It's time for change.
Keir Starmer has told the public we must endure more economic pain and hardship "in the short-term". But the poorest in society have been enduring economic pain for years while the rich get ever richer. We need proper investment in communities. We need to tax the super-rich.

If you want Green policies enacted, you have to vote Green.
Apparently this is what the change was all along. Make lots of noise. Say how sorry you are about children in poverty. And then vote to continue Tory policy but now with red rosettes. Absolutely shameful.

If the Labour Party has a moral mission, it must be to eradicate child poverty. I join the 11 unions affiliated to the Labour Party & the TUC, which represents six million workers, in calling for the two-child benefit cap to be immediately scrapped. I will vote for it today.
