We are happy to share our latest work now out in @NatureSynthesis. Via electrochemical oxidation of amine (DABCO) to N-radical dication, we show that selective aromatic C-H amination can be achieved, including previously challenging arenes. Congrats to Griffin, @evamariawara,

Traditional electrochemical olefin carboxylation involve an ECEC mechanism with the second reduction leading to dicarboxylation as major product. Here, we tune alternating polarity electrolysis to enable an ECC mechanism to form the linear carboxylated product.
