Had I not spent over a decade working with the Montana Migrant Education program, I likely wouldn't have known how much of our food is harvested by people on their knees. Thank you, farm workers, for all you do for our families, schools, and communities.
@Corneli36502245 Those pretty organic heirloom carrots you’re going to roast may well be packaged right in the fields, by farm workers moving up-and-down the rows on their knees.

@mauraloran Radishes take 3-4 weeks from seed to harvest, longer in cooler temperatures. High quality hand harvested radishes are a labor intensive crop as Patricia demonstrates here. (Patricia’s skill, accuracy and speed is incredibly respected by her peers.)

One of my favorite facts learned during my linguistics undergrad program.
It is permissible in English for a preposition to be what you end a sentence with. The idea that it should be avoided came from writers who were trying to align the language with Latin, but there is no reason to suggest ending a sentence with a preposition is wrong.
