It is with great honour that today we announce that Prof. Dame Mary Beard is the 2025 recipient of the Brick Classicists of the Year Award!

She has also been a consistent supporter of @BrickClassicist & the use of using @LEGO_Group to widen the appeal & understanding of the ancient world for many years.

Throughout her career Dame Beard has exemplified this with her straightforward, inclusive & good-humoured approach and dedication.

The award is given every year to an existing member of @BrickClassicist who shows great dedication to opening up the study and understanding of the ancient world to all of the community & creating a more inclusive engagement. #ILCD25 #ILCD2025
