All he needs to do is what he already did with Classic Amy (keep her modern growth ofc). She never grew out of the way she expressed her feelings for Sonic. It's not like he can't do it. The blueprint is right here lol

For the record, Ian Flynn has really improved with writing Amy's mannerisms!.Her character voice feels totally on point now. Her mellowing out is almost fully reversed. If he just writes in her cat-and-mouse dynamic with Sonic, there would be almost no problems
Amy’s chase wasn’t just a gag — it was her love for adventure. To her, Sonic IS adventure. She represents us chasing the uncatchable. Our future selves. It symbolizes the journey of human growth. Their dynamic is called a cat and mouse dynamic because OUR chase should NEVER end.
