People calling Elise bland and thinking Blaze from Sonic '06 is "out of character" for being composed-stoic-"mature" when the entire point is that this is nothing but a guise (them masking themselves is something they canonically believe they must have as princesses) fries me

Beautiful thread🤍 Elise has been a secret fav of mine since I began my analysis. She's so deeply rooted in the series narrative. I avoid talking about it out of not wanting to deal with the ignorant but...it's difficult. I hope to open that door one day and this is a great start
I'll answer this here: it's good, people are just being dumb. Up until this point, realize that Elise has been a sacrifical character who'd even make herself the lamb to slaughter. She always disregards herself. Elise has never lived for herself once and compartmentalized.

After rewatching Sonic '06 again, I grew love for Elise. She is absolutely gorgeous and I just really like her now. Which is a given, because I also like Blaze... Who is her parallel. She tries her best 💔. I would've released the shit and cause the apocalypse day 1.

Sonic needing help to fight Solaris is wrong it's really tiresome that people insist that Super Sonic couldn't do that. It's always "Solaris exists in different time periods". I think it's more appropriate to say Solaris needed help to fight Sonic.
