The Boston Firefighter Burn Foundation help bring a little joy to the children at the Shriners Hospital today delivering Santa and Mrs. Claus.

A busy 24 hours for our firefighters, many of them working at the 3 alarm fire on Corwin st. in the day and the 4 alarm fire that evening on Poplar st. A great job by all our firefighters and Fire Alarm Operators .

The snowy and windy conditions didn’t prevent the Boston Fire Dive Team from completing their training exercises in the Boston harbor this morning .

This morning, members of #PHXFire had the honor of escorting Kinsley Mock to school for her first day back since the passing of her father, Captain Anthony Mock, just two weeks ago. Students, staff, and firefighters lined the entrance, as Kinsley bravely walked in. #MockStrong

The members of meetinghouse Hill in Dorchester , Engine 17 Ladder 7 had a visitor on top of the flag pole watching over them this morning, looks like he likes the new Firehouse.

Around 8:30 this morning a High Angle Rescue for a construction worker who fell approximately 20 feet working at the top of the church steeple at 85 Seaverns Ave JP. Companies were able to safely treat, stabilize and remove him using Tower Ladder 10 from about 50 feet above.

Senior Fire Prevention Engineer Paul Donga retired today after thirty-nine years of service to the city of Boston. Congratulations Paul, you will be greatly missed.

Companies arrived to the laundromat at 4549 Washington St in Roslindale with fire showing. They were able to quickly get the fire extinguished and vented so there was no damage to other attached stores in the block. BFD-FIU is on scene to investigate cause. No injuries reported.
