I love that NetsDaily was disgusted by Wednesday night’s performance, but somehow liked the Nets unbelievably boring and non-additive 2024-2025 season
People can get excited if they want about tanking but last night was awful and to be frank, Jordi looked disgusted post-game (as well he should.)

There is an argument to be made that the worst move Sean Marks has made in his tenure as Nets GM was receiving DLo in the DFS trade. In the time between the Schroder and DLO deals the Nets were horrendous. The difference between VJ/Harper/Ace/Tre and Egor.

Been saying forever if you actually want to cycle shitty teams and make them good, abolish lottery, make every year have vicious tanking, but those teams will never have to tank again because they should have a perennial star
The lottery sucks. A team with AD and Kyrie get Flagg. A team with Wemby gets Harper. A team with Embiid and Maxey get Edgecomb. The teams led by Alex Sarr, Lauri Markkanen, LaMelo Ball and Cam Johnson suffer.

Making life all the more depressing for Nets fans is seeing Edgecombe, Tre Johnson, and my guy Cedric Coward all look good so far.

Much to the chagrin of the antisemites and antizionist on this stupid app, Ben Saraf is an NBA player. Incredibly crafty, gets to his spots, very smart and tough as nails. He’s gonna be in the league for a long time. Plays like a 8 year vet

Michael Port Jr. and Cam Thomas made a bet before the season who could pass the least amount of times. They have absolutely zero interest in giving up the rock.

Everyone please check out @HolmesScribe’s new Nets article on Danny Wolf. One of the best Nets writers out there.
“He’s like my laptop.” Danny Wolf’s mind works like a search engine with no limits. Every possession opens a new window for the Nets rookie: a missed rotation here, a better pass there, until the tabs start stacking faster than he can close them. Knowing when to silence his

For the record, Kyrie couldn’t have been more wrong about the vaccine But I digress
Stepen A. admits that Kyrie was right about the vaccine “Kyrie is a good brother man… and in hindsight the brother right because we see all the conspiracy theories that came out and props to him” (🎥 @7PMinBrooklyn / h/t @kyriecenterig )

When Kyrie refused vaccine, 5000 Brooklynites were dying monthly of COVID, the bodies of the indigent and unidentified placed in refrigerated trucks in a parking lot across from HSS Training Center. Vaccine wasn’t that controversial 91% of all NYC residents got at least one shot.
What a joke. One of the biggest issues in America is that we arrived at a place where: Conspiracy theories = facts

Announcement from the facts department: 1. Israel didn't cut any aid since the deal came into effect. It threatened to do it, but didn't 2. After these threats, Hamas "found" three more bodies of hostages 3. There are more bodies of hostages Hamas can return immediately
Israel knew hostages bodies would be hard to find, and using this to continue starvation of Palestinians https://t.co/QxzE2CheKo

Would love Nets to pounce on this
Devin Carter’s days with the Kings could be coming to an end, per @TheSteinLine “Devin Carter's days with the franchise appear to be dwindling. He might have been the 13th overall pick out of Providence as recently as the 2024 NBA Draft, but the front office leaders who made

Thoughts on Nets rooks: Demin: Shot + defense look good. Game yesterday was overblown tho Saraf: Crafty, smart, clear NBA guard Wolf: As @BKNETSFOREVER says, will be better around NBA talent Powell: Too early, athletic, nice stroke, most potential Traore: most disappointing

Obviously. Half this fanbase was brainwashed into thinking it wasn’t because of Kyrie. Of course it was, and it always was. Too bad these Kyrie sycophants are still around

This is a national disgrace. How have things come to this? Starmer pledged that Jews are welcome and safe in Britain. That he stands shoulder to shoulder with the Jewish community and will use the full force of his government to prove it. Will he back those words with action
Aston Villa can confirm the club has been informed that no away fans may attend the UEFA Europa League match with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The notion that the future mayor of NYC won’t denounce a terrorist group that raped, pillaged, murdered, and burned alive men, women, and children (both Israelis and Palestinians!) is so unbelievably devastating and truly breaks my heart
MacCallum: "Should Hamas give up their weapons?" Zohran: "I believe that a future here in New York City is affordable for all." MacCallum: "You won't say that Hamas should lay down their arms?" Zohran: "I don't have any opinions on the future of Hamas."

As someone who was part of early Nets spaces, I can say that it's always been highly critical of fans who did/do not adamantly support Kyrie, KD, CamT, and adamantly oppose Marks, Tsai. At this point, most spaces crater into a Marks hate-fest, which is why I stopped joining
My spaces have always been open to balanced debate. I think I can speak for @SAINTNET1 as well. Maybe the state of Nets Twitter has more to do with the Nets than the fans themselves.

L.O.L. If Marks drafted Ace and this happened, the Marks vultures would be calling Ace Bailey Dariq 2.0. People are shameless. In all seriousness, I really hope Ace is good, his preseason has been so fun, wish Nets had opportunity to draft him
Did the Jazz know this in advance? Did Ainge do his homework? Or does this matter only when it comes to Marks to the haters out there.
