Just noticed it’s been a full week since I last tweeted. This is usually a good metric that all is not well, and it isn’t #crackedribs #heartfailure

Pharmacist prescribers are excellent. In Scotland, some pharmacists can already prescribe antibiotics for various conditions. But a health secretary encouraging people to share antibiotics is beyond irresponsible! It is simply dangerous. This whole government is dangerous!

Hospital admissions with COVID have peaked in the last few days. Though the 7-day average for England is up 4%. Our R estimate is just under 1.0. Most regions have peaked or look like they are about to. SW down 12%, though East is up by 20%. Bed occupancy still rising, up 10%.

It doesn’t surprise me that a friend is using my health woes as evidence of ‘long COVID’ despite the fact I knew about the heart mutation AND was suffering symptoms before I had the rona! I suspect this is a common propaganda tool.

Some very unpatriotic reactions in this household. Sadly that’s what 15 years of nationalist government does #Eurovision2023

As Liz Truss reeled off the components of 'anti-growth coalition', she somehow forgot to mention people who pile up money in the Cayman Islands rather than invest in Britain

Really? More like universally reviled these days. Ok I exaggerate but the case is having to be made for growth like never before.
Growth is a universally shared objective, not a policy. It’s like saying we want to improve people’s lives, or everyone to achieve their potential. Yet “going for growth” is being covered by pundits as if it’s some political innovation. Scrutinise the policies not the objective!

Could it be that the woman who made the ‘pork markets’ speech might actually be ‘a bit fick’?

This is *the* version IMO. So many other conductors seem to race towards the end like they’ve got a taxi waiting https://t.co/QcV535wD53
