European countries apparently seeking to invoke snapback sanctions under #JCPOA over Iran's nuclear programme. At the same time calls in EU to give Poland, Germany ( & others?) nuclear weapons. The West wouldn't know their own hypocrisy if they fell over it. #NPT.
Russia and China came up with a fairly sophisticated argument about the legality of U.S. ability to invoke this in 2020 as a non-party to the agreement, however, the push for snapback would be led by the E3 (France, UK, Germany) who all remain parties to the JCPOA.

Tot slot: het absolute gebrek aan ruggengraat van De Wever. Hij zegt gewoon: "we doen wat de rest wilt." Het gaat niet over welk spelletje we doen tijdens de middagpauze, maar om één van de meest ingrijpend denkbare beslissing voor een land, regio én de wereld.

Ik maak me geen illusies over de internationale geloofwaardigheid van het Westen, maar de hypocrisie en dubbele standaarden m.b.t. de fundamenten van de 'internationale liberale orde' (met nu dus non-proliferatie) zou lachwekkend zijn als het niet zo gevaarlijk was.

Tientallen jaren van wereldwijde inspanningen om atoombommen de wereld uit te werken, incl. door België. De luchthartigheid waarmee dit soort ballonnetjes wordt opgelaten door een eerste minister is misselijkmakend.
