It's official! There's a route for the MoPac Trail! Once done, the trail will fully connect Omaha and Lincoln. The planning, funding, approval, and political will needed to complete the gap in the MoPac Trail has been over six years in the making. https://t.co/iqNxwAXuWB

Note that this represents a 100% increase over the TOTAL number of bike/ped fatalities in 2023 for the City of Omaha @OmahaOfficial. For a city with a #VisionZero commitment, we ask: what is the plan?

We are distressed to hear about another person killed while walking in Omaha this morning. This brings the # of deaths of pedestrians+bicyclists equal to that of those in vehicles for the year. What is the plan to address this @omahapublicwrks @OmahaOfficial?
