On behalf of the entire community, I want to thank Police Chief Michon Morrow and her team for their outstanding work yesterday and every day.

Their use of technology and social media helped rescue the victim, alerted residents to the potential danger, and kept the community informed as the investigation unfolded.

This is just the latest example of how our law enforcement professionals work every day to protect our community.

Thursday, our community witnessed how the rapid, responsible, and painstaking response of our @Lincoln_Police Department was critical in saving the life of a crime victim.
