Quantum Computing Now Live on Bittensor! Today marks a major milestone for decentralized technology: quantum computing is now live on Bittensor. With the launch of Subnet 48 and https://t.co/pYRjghMLTz entering their "Private Beta", the Bittensor quantum network is officially

Great Progress! One of the big criticisms of the 2019 Quantum Supremacy work was that it wasn't "Useful". This work certainly seems to clear that hurdle. Interestingly NMR experiment simulations were some of the early applications on DARPA's radar also, so cool to see that
New breakthrough quantum algorithm published in @Nature today: Our Willow chip has achieved the first-ever verifiable quantum advantage. Willow ran the algorithm - which we’ve named Quantum Echoes - 13,000x faster than the best classical algorithm on one of the world's fastest

Our friends at @OxfordIonics, now a part of @IonQ_Inc, just announced 99.99% fidelities on two-qubit gate fidelities. To folks used to perfect digital bits, this might not sound like much, but by quantum standards this is amazing progress. Better Physical Qubits + Better
Today, we have released a landmark technical result demonstrating the world’s highest two-qubit gate performance with fidelity exceeding 99.99%! 🎉 Find out more on our website here: https://t.co/VGQlVG5nkG

[3/4] If you're still here, then I think you all see we see: the value that Bittensor can create for Quantum, and the value that Quantum can create for Bittensor, and all of the opportunity for those that support the vision.

[2/4] From our perspective, this represents a doubling down on the strategy. We've increased our financial exposure substantially, while also putting reputation on the line to signal how bullish we are on quantum + bittensor.

[1/4] I appreciate that the update during Novelty Search was big news for people to navigate, and that we need to share more about the interplay between 48 and 63.

Excited to be joining Novelty Search this week. Can't wait to share more on the strategy, the tech, and the roadmap, with some exciting things to come!
We are honored to announce that our first public appearance within Bittensor will be on @opentensor's Novelty Search, the well-regarded and influential series hosted by the visionary @const_reborn. This Thursday, key members of our team will take the stage to share the story of

The man, the myth, the legend: Dr John Preskill. When you speak, we listen. In this fresh arXiv drop, the doc and some amazing collaborators are dropping quantum wisdom bombs!
The infectious enthusiasm of my wonderful co-authors (@RobertHuangHY, Soonwon Choi, @JarrodMcclean) drove this upbeat assessment of “The Vast World of Quantum Advantage." https://t.co/ftX03fQp2N

Worth a look-- While we may be cheering for the all the "Davids" out there, "Goliath" still sets the tone for the market.
We’re building more than quantum computers. We're building a system that uses quantum to solve real-world problems that were once considered impossible. Last month, IBM laid out a transparent roadmap detailing how we’ll achieve quantum advantage. Let’s take a closer look.🧵

I recently updates from Pete on the progress our friends at @PsiQuantum are making on their large scale quantum computer. If what they say is accurate, the future is bright indeed! Many updates were shared in this slick video: 0:00-2:07 - Updates 2:07-3:11 - Inspirational

Want to try some of the circuits from @qBitTensor's #sn63, but not ready to setup a miner? We've generated a number of sample circuits for you to cut-your-teeth on. Figure out how to crush it, then launch a miner when you are ready:

Shout out to our friends at @rigetti for this big news. Some may say that these errors are still way too high for two-qubit operations (and they aren't wrong) but every time we cut the error rates on physical qbts, we shorten the path to large scale logical qbts! Congrats!
Today we announced that we’ve demonstrated the industry’s largest multi-chip quantum computer and halved our 2Q error rate with our modular 36Q system. We look forward to sharing more updates when we release our operating results for Q2 2025! https://t.co/ScqBUE4zqC
