Like transportation, our water systems are fundamental to our communities, but unlike transpo, our federal government hasn't provide them the same level of sustained investment. We see the results. It's time to fix that. I'm excited by the leadership of @EPWCmte & @SenAlexPadilla
More than two million Americans don’t have access to adequate drinking water and sanitation—many of them from low-income communities and communities of color. We have to change that! 💧✊🏾

I believe we all have a stake in the future of our country, and that everyone shares a common bond: our love for the outdoors and a desire and obligation to keep our nation livable for future generations. Thank you to the Senate ENR Committee for their vote of confidence today.

.@GovernorWhitmer at today’s Senate hearing: “We need to invest in and push for bold electric vehicle policy as a pathway to economic opportunity for our country and a way to address climate change… these are linked and can’t be pulled apart – it’s not if, or, it’s both.”
