I've watched Fleetwood sign autographs and pose for photos until there's nobody left. Without the fanfare that Phil got for doing it. Those comments today, that reaction on 18...he's simply one of the most genuine guys in the game. Little legend
If none of these on this chart place (top 8 Inc ties) I'll choose someone who likes this tweet for a £100 free bet on Masters week in April
I have confidence in that whole pie Jenny 😬
🚨Here we goooo! The Sony Open most tipped player chart!🚨
Last week we had the winner with Cam Smith. Will most tipped Aussie compatriot Marc Leishman make it a double?

Coral need called out on this 10 places bullshit. Betting to 204% when i checked earlier and offering those SAME prices to shop customers at 1/4 5. If you want to offer 10 places online, don't mug joe bloggs in the shop. Disgraceful, shameful bookmaking
We welcomed a little boy to our family in the early hours of Saturday morning. Happy to be the 'martyr' and do the night feeds over the first two nights funnily enough! Felt a little guilty refreshing the play by play in the delivery suite though!
'It was up against a tree. Finau was sub 1.1 betfair. Then it came back from a commercial break and it appeared he had a shot! It was like Dufner in the rocks all over again. Seriously thought Finau had won it'
Portrush Thread. First of all course is stunning. In great shape, not soft but not firm so to speak. But dry right now. A lot of players hitting irons off many tees. OB white sticks are easily in play on a handful. The start is relatively straightforward
Stenson, Spieth and Molinari...thats the MATCH BALL. Not the belter result we wanted but what a ride. Berlin...get ready!! What golf the italian played...thoroughly deserved. 3pts ew at 33s landed. Scahuffele 1.5ew at 110/1. Congrats to all who played
66/1 winners don't often come stress free!
1pt each way Clark 66/1 🥇
Together with Meronk lands a double! God it has been a grind this year, rewards finally this past month or so. That was an amazing effort from Wyndham today, very impressive
I mean it's not a big deal, but there's a bunch of top 20 golfers who wouldn't bother. I will drink a lot the next time he wins a major, because he will people...he definitely will
Just put the finishing touches to the p&l for 2021...
262pts profit for the year at 37% ROI
Hopefully we can do it all over again starting January. Thanks again for all the support and interaction
As promised here is the Masters sheet including the form/stats for this weeks field for the PGA Tour events where the data is collected. Unfortunately I can't get a web version where you can sort/filter, but should still be of some use. Masters week!
How good is Tim Barter on comms? Proper insight into golfers and their caddies/coaches etc. No waffle, doesn't talk for the sake of it. Should be a proper fixture in the box. One of the best they have
WHAT A MAN. Chats to the kids an hour before playoff saying he would be back to sign after it's all over. A total gent. The best there is for the game. Genuis, little genuis
I know it has been said before, but it would be a tremendous few days watching the world's best amateur golfers (which we almost never see) battle it out for a gold medal. We would learn an awful lot about them when we only ever really see them at the Walker Cup
Mcilroy does of course have a win on the pga tour this season. Unlike Thomas, Dustin, Rahm, Cantlay, Morikawa, Schauffele. But whisper that, cos he's shite of course 😴
2pts ew Herbert 22/1 🥇
1pt ew Cockerill 175/1 🥈
How I wish it would have been the other way around. It's been a tough year until now though and that's a mighty relief
May not be a popular opinion but when they get setups right like this it's a much more fascinating watch than Augusta. This has been superb seeing these guys in positions we all are in every week
Open selections now live. I can't help but feel the market is giving too much respect to many around the 16/1-25/1 mark. My approach may prove unpopular with many but it's the way I see it. Recent PGA Tour winners at triple figures also need monitoring
1pt ew Pavon 80/1 🥇
1pt ew Lombard 70/1 🥈
From the depths last Sunday to the heights of a 1-2 in Spain.
Remarkably stress free with a flawless round of golf from Pavon.
Now we shall be greedy and hope Tom Kim defends his title in Vegas
This golf been on since 630am. Now past 9pm and they're showing us how to hit knockdown shots for about the 27th time this week. Just switch the lights out, have a beer and a burger and get some sleep for the morning. We really wouldn't mind
Rubbish year in 2020 for my golf so happy to so far be putting it right in 2021.
229pts ahead from 271 staked.
Every hope to kick on rest of year...we'll see what comes!
If you don't film yourself doing things then it's not worth a bag. That's the way folk think these days, lost all perspective. Doing something fun? Film it. Something sad? Film it. But whatever you do...make sure you post it
I wanted to return to Buckingham Palace today for some quiet reflection and lay my own tribute.
Crowds young, old, from all ethnicities and backgrounds.
Truly the best of British doing her justice.
Lovely round that from Wolff. Every chance from here. At 125/1 if BDC comes and does us tomorrow, forgive me if I take the following week off, and the week after that
Kind of regretting taking the safer 150/1 8 place option rather than the 250/1 5 places that was available last Monday!
Thanks for all the messages. Delighted to get off the mark early in 2022
4pts 12/1 🥇
1pt ew Dahmen 125/1 T7 (small slice)
Together with 80s winner and 70s runner up in Spain it's a mighty change from last Sunday's disappointment. This game. Thanks for the messages today, still means a lot 💌
5pts Scheffler 13/2 🥇
Not a ground breaking week but it's the match ball with three winners on the trot on the PGA Tour.
Flawless performance from the world's best
3pts ew Rory at 9s outright. 1.5pts ew Casey without 25s. A win and a place. Totally deserved for Rory. Diff golfer this year, worked hard on attitude and very few silly mistakes. Didn't go his way in majors but elsewhere been near perfect. Was a confident bet, chuffed
Of 8 rounds played together at East lake it is Rory 5, Thomas 1, 2 ties. Of those ahead of Rory, at East Lake Reed ranks bottom all round whilst BK and Cantlay rank both in the bottom 7. Rory to win Fedex is as bullish a bet I've had in a fair while
McIlroy is a frustrating one, especially for punters. However, it is only a matter of time before he adds to his major haul. He is too special a player not to write a few more stories in that book. In fact along with Spieth he is the most special since Tiger. Enjoy him 👌
55/1 poke Varner III leads after an 8 under knock on day3. Probably won't lead today, but won't be far off. Still leads, how do you like those apples Nigel?
2.5pts each-way Meronk 20/1 🥇
Special mention must go to
@BenColeyGolf
who too landed Meronk but also had Langasque at 66s and Nicolai placed. Great effort.
Now for the double! Clark trading 2.18 on machine from the advised 66/1 at Quail
With an exhilarating winner around 1am, it was back to reality 6 hours later. Was all presents and cards yesterday, today was filling baths after 3 hours sleep to scrub off milk and weetabix
I always chuckle at those having a pop at picks as if they've got it sussed. A game more or less impossible to figure out completely and they're telling you you're doing it wrong. Some folk don't evolve from the playground
Well done to all Thomas backers. Esp
@BenColeyGolf
and
@Sundogmonkey
who grind it out every week. Few other I've missed I'm sure but we'll played.
On another note. How good is Sawgrass? Absolute belter course and great drama. It's probably the 4th best event behind 3 majors
Mcilroy was imperious in the majors last year without getting the bit of luck you need. That win this morning feels big. I'd say outside of majors that is the biggest pressure he has felt (even Inc FedEx £) with the Reed story. Completing the job was a huge step
For the craic seeing the Open is down the road from me, I'll choose someone tomorrow at random who retweets this and they'll have £1 per pt on my Outright tips this week 🍻
Can't let today pass without marking here my best mates wedding. The man who looked after us when we lost a baby, and who helped bring our two safely into the world. Doctor Devlin, loved, legend
Love this. Keane been through some tough times himself, and you can see the authentic concern here with Gary's dad having died relatively young. Bash his punditry all you like, but I love how genuine the bloke is. This show itself is bloody tremendous too
The obsession with golf lessons on Sky Golf is obscene. Why? No other golf coverage across the world gives us this. Is it because ex-pros still want to be relevant? I don't know. It's absolute mind numbing stuff day after day on euro and us coverage
I think if you're discussing whether it was a good idea for Rory to do the interview you are missing the point. He didn't do it for himself. He did it for YOU...the viewer. Top class
Tipped 5 in fact as non runners and didn't tip Spieth. Heading into final round Casey (20/1) is T7. McNealy (100/1) T7, and Homa (50/1) T11. Any more questions, happy to help
@ericjharrington
Great to see chat about the 47 year old competing with Bryson 2 weeks on trot etc. Common denominator is top class courses though. Some venues just don't allow for such things to happen. Sooner the conversation turns to design the better
Never seen Rory grind as hard. You all ought to be applauding this, as plenty pounce when the opposite happens. Amazing watch he has been here. Spieth-esque
It's better than thanking the Lord folks. Golf twitter blows up because Bryson thanked his sponsors. Dear me anything to throw shade on the lad. Good night. Sawgrass we go
Sheff Weds v Newcastle STOPPAGE TIME 🧵
