Those 3 dots you are supposed to be able to click to hide ads don’t work. You end up clicking through to the ad. Often it spawns a video portal with no visible means of exit. I’ve had to force quit the X app. What’s worse, the algorithm now thinks I am interested in Kevin Sorbo.

This is a really good point. Aside from our collective loss of Stephen on air, there is a cadre of dedicated people who make this happen. Stephen will no doubt land on his feet running. But how will this impact all those behind the scenes?

Two thoughts: 1. No doubt Vance is evil but more calculating smart evil. It will be less reckless and more targeted, which may be easier to combat 2. Trump is the glue that holds MAGA together. Without him I expect a bloodbath amongst the minions to be the new figurehead

Just a reminder of what real leadership looks like

Like many other legacy media outlets, @ABC has failed to meet the challenge of our times, and in doing so becomes complicit in the authoritarian undermining of our democracy. The vile inhumanity of this administration must be called out, and @TerryMoran had the courage to do so.

Being undocumented is a civil, not criminal violation. The violent actions being taken by ICE are performative and not at all warranted.

For all the talk about “defeating the left,” what do MAGA supporters actually expect? That half the country will just give in or leave? The left isn’t going anywhere—and won’t live under authoritarian rule. At some point, we need to start seeking common ground.

For all the culture wars, immigrant drama and jet angst, underneath this is what it’s all about. Thieves in the night.
