Democrats Ignored Every Warning and the Results Are Catastrophic Now that a fascistic party has won the presidency along with the Senate and apparently the House as well, the stakes for people and planet are truly beyond comprehension.

The Harris campaign raised nearly $1 billion while losing the popular vote. These things are connected.

I remember trying to pitch a story about how important it was for the general election that Bernie had such strong Latino support. No outlet was interested.

My most disturbing memory from the 2020 primary is when Bernie Sanders won Nevada, California, and every other state with large numbers of Latino voters, and the Democratic Party's response was to spit in their face and tell them that they didn't matter, only South Carolina did.

Harris's unappealing platform originated in March 2022, when the Biden-Harris admin gave up on economic populism and pivoted toward austerity and historic Pentagon budgets. https://t.co/52JiQkdAIc

It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.

Dems have spent the past 8 years destroying the one movement that could have saved them. Bernie's class first populism won over exactly the type of voters (Latinos, working class, bros, Joe Rogan!) that Dems now repel.

Democratic voters are upset today because we failed to win. What they don't realize is that the Democratic consultant class didn't fail, they made 15% on a billion dollars. That's why they emphasize raising more money from donors than actually delivering for the voters.

Trump won because the opposition party is committed to ancien régime restoration in a country that desperately wants change.
