Hopefully we can all get behind a value-based public health system. Too much of public health focuses on doing what feels right instead of doing what actually makes things right for the public we serve.

Effective workforce development and higher education policy recognizes an all of the above approach: R1, public regionals, community colleges, and trade and vocational schools. Don't fall for zero sum thinking. We need all pathways for citizens to flourish.
