Good one - Most of these companies were disrupted by new entrants that redefined the industry. Enterprises are always chasing a new product idea but sometimes miss the boat entirely by a fast moving well funded entrepreneur.

What will work in 2040 look like? We’re gonna need to replicate ourselves and/or get ai bots to handle the increase in multitasking we’ll need to do :).
Work in 1960: Type out memos on a typewriter. Work in 1980: Type out memos in a word processor. Work in 2000: Type out memos in an email. Work in 2020: Collaboratively edit a task list in real-time while on a video call and responding to texts in six different chat apps.
