100% agree. Everyone wants him back, but there’s a real possibility even if you give it your best financial effort he might want to be on the East Coast or elsewhere and you do NOT want to get caught with your pants down on this being the only move.
It's understandable that Mariner fans would hyperfixate on Josh Naylor this offseason. I just hope the front office casts a wider net. There are other/better options, especially if you end up needing to go toe-to-toe with the New York teams for him.
