“…you only got your MP job because you’re a black”. At this point, you can only laugh at the daily invective of being labelled a ‘DEI hire’ by anonymous far right accounts.
@BenObeseJecty @SaigonSteve1991 @Anglokinist MPs make less than low level IT contractors, and you only got your MP job because you're a black.

As the Environment Secretary Steve Reed takes to the airwaves to announce what the Government is doing to tackle sewage, here’s Feargal Sharkey to outline how everything announced are existing policies announced by the Conservatives in 2022-23.
Well what an incredible morning this is going to be. Labour govt trumpeting a long list of stuff they claim they've done to deal with the water industry. Tories say they just nicked their old policies, thing is the Tories are right. Example. 1. All sewage overflows to have

Last week I highlighted the level of racist abuse here directly to @X’s European Government Affairs Director. Made a huge difference.

We saw yesterday during the debate how potentially divided Labour are over the danger of leaving Northern Ireland veterans open to prosecution. Al Carns is a good man and I’m not surprised to see him on resignation watch taking a principled stance in opposition to this policy.
EXC: Veterans minister on resignation watch over Troubles legacy plans. Alistair Carns has told Hilary Benn, the Northern Ireland secretary, that he cannot support proposals to repeal the law that gives servicemen immunity from prosecution.

Huge congratulations to Labour who, having so confidently announced they would “Smash the Gangs™”, will today announce that of the 30,000+ illegal migrants who’ve entered since they took office, 50 ‘could’ now be swapped with France, who have been paid £209m this year alone.
Fifty migrants a week could be sent back to France in pilot of 'one in, one out' deal due to be discussed at a UK-France summit in Downing Street. Defence Secretary John Healey was asked on #BBCBreakfast about the plan to be discussed by Keir Starmer and President Macron
