Here's the launch of the balloon test model of the new SAIRA atmospheric radiation monitors from the @metoffice station Camborne, Cornwall. Delivering vital data as part of the current UK space weather program - SWIMMR.

This space weather @metoffice balloon is measuring radiation levels in Earth’s atmosphere. The data it collects will combine with data from satellites and on the ground, eventually maximising the safety of aircraft during major space weather events.
