This is one of the reasons why @CyclePlatform was created. We hated k8s updates too! Now we push automatic meaningful updates every ~2 weeks, no extra work for our users, no extra anxiety.
I'm working on a project that is using k8s 1.29 dependencies and have serious anxiety over the idea of upgrading to 1.31. I thought I was done with this mess....
