Fantastic talk about the roles of kurly in vertebrate development. It raised so many interesting questions about its role! Very curious to find out more and will be following this story closely in future! #cilia2022.
Getting ready to present at #cilia2022! The talks have been wonderful so far so the bar is high and jet lag is evil. :).

It’s the first time I’m attending this conference online instead of in person since it started in 2014. But can’t wait to listen to this exciting line up of talks!.
We are kicking off our @EMBO #Cilia2022 @EJPRareDiseases Patients’s Day! It is so nice to see our #ciliopathy communities- patients, families & patient advocacy groups from all over, all here! @CiliaAlliance @LMBBS1 @PKD_eV @PKDCharity

Article identifying low levels of BChE as a marker for SIDS. Hopefully a larger study is in progress and maybe one day soon we will have a blood test to let parents know if their child has a propensity towards this terrifying event! #SIDS #cotdeath.

Really enjoying the Weisenfeld Lecture by award winner Dr. Paul Bernstein about nutritional approaches to treating retinal disease. P.S. super thrilled to see the reference to Calvin and Hobbes where Calvin is eating ‘retina sandwiches’! 🤣.
Attending the Weisenfeld Award and Lecture now to learn about the retinoids, carotenoids, and very-long-chain polyunsaturated acids and their function in the eye. Congratulations to the award winners! Fabulous talk! #ARVO2021
