Kid competes. Wants the ball. Controls 3 pitches and can throw all in any count. Battled through football injury early last season and still put up the stats quoted in this write up.
2026 RHP/OF @EverettGryder - @BaseballWatauga - 3.6 GPA - Interest in Pre-Law/Criminal Justice. Also a Football player, Gryder has stout strength on the bump. Good offering from the 5'10" 190 frame. I like the Quick arm from a shorter arm action; FB 78-81, 82 MPH; creates good

2026 OF @JakeBlanton1411 - @BaseballWatauga - 4.13 GPA - Interest in Criminal Justice, Undecided Degree Path. Jake was one of the toolsiest players I saw during the Spring season. Wiry, athletic, 5'9" 175. Ran extremely well, 6.78 60yd; strong, accurate throws in the OF (81-83)

A definite watch for this 2027 P. With some expected growth between sophomore and Junior seasons, he’s gonna be a problem for teams on the mound.
