There are 2,365 baseball players in the transfer portal. 1,266 D1, 768 D2, and 327 D3. Recruits for where you’re wanted and will play don’t chase a label. In the end you’ll enjoy your experience more, if you go to the right place. Do you research, know yourself.

Nearly 20% of D1 baseball players are in the portal, that’s over 2,000 players. Over 4,000 when you include D2 and D3. Then junior college and HS players moving into college, if you get a good offer and a school wants you…you should probably take it.

1,715 D1 baseball players in the portal, 1,022 since June 3rd. 4,000 total across all divisions. Add the junior college and high school players “still looking”. Hard to imagine there’s enough spots for everyone. If you have an offer you may wanna take it before it’s too late.

Last year, 2022-2023, 4,950 baseball players entered into the transfer portal, 1,937 found a place to play this season. That’s less than 40% of players finding a school for 2023-2024.

Can we please stop spreading the misconception that because the catcher didn’t make contact with the batter it’s not interference. Sure it’s more obvious if he does, but contact is not required to have an interference call.
