A dignified transfer ceremony was held today for @USArmy Private First-Class Lawrence Richard Beard. He was captured and died as a prisoner of war during WWII in Nov. 1942. PFC Beard is a Westminster, Maryland native. His nephew and niece attended today's ceremony. @dodpaa
