@jasonc_nc This delusion explains why they don't have empathy for those below doing it tough. They are after all self-made, so why can't everyone else lift themselves up by their bootstraps. It protects people from having to confront luck, structural advantage, or hidden legacies.

AUKUS is a disaster for Australia, basically an excuse to gift Australian taxpayer funds into the US war machine with nothing in return @AlboMP . That should be reason to end this huge rort of Australia. If that’s not enough then having the US run by a paedophile ring should 1)

Malignant narcissists go ABSOLUTELY CRAZY WITH RAGE when a person they envy receives an accolade or opportunity they crave. As targets, we keep our heads down as this is when narcissists are most dangerous. More frequently though targets are becoming more courageous.

@ChrisEconomist Corporations are posting record profits and the All Ords has nearly doubled under this 'Labor' govt. Meanwhile, workers are struggling to avoid homelessness. The whole system is corrupt. Australia is no longer a democracy - it's a corporatocracy. https://t.co/Gqbt7Ilgbu

It's all a lie. Everything you've been told. There's only one reason for immigration and it's not any of the reasons you've been given. If you want the truth, you just have to follow the money and...

Billions more of our public money going in to aligning ourselves even more with AUKUS and Trump - all to defend ourselves against our largest trading partner. Meanwhile Australians can't afford to pay their bills #auspol

@RoseCaporale I always talk about being protective. Sometimes you can start with a small boundary but always have some kind of safety plan in place. It is sometimes possible to have a narcissist think an idea has come from them. This is the crux of the issue with a malignant narcissist. It is

@DougCameron51 The govt has absorbed the RWNJ energy that Morrison imbued the PS with. I'm not suggesting the PS is a RWNJ outfit, but Albo has done nothing to change in terms of institutional energy and incentive drift.

@AvidCommentator Migration is crucial to the Australian story there is little doubt about that. We come from many corners of the globe to make Australia what it is today. However, our govts have failed to plan for scale, capacity and public communication. This opens the door to rwnj populists.

A pathetic, biased #Insiders discussion on police brutality. No reference to the genocide in Gaza, no mention of bombing, starving and brutalising innocent civilians and children. Of course there is division when you invite Herzog the figurehead of a state engaged in war crimes.

The steady increase in state control through draconian laws could pave the way for divisive parties to gain power. #labor #sydneycriminallawyers

Australian governments are currently passing increasingly draconian laws, and the fear is an ultraconservative party could take office and wield them to consolidate power.

People aren’t becoming extreme out of irrationality — institutions don't protect people, politicians don't represent you, the powerful face no consequences and even middle class people are struggling to survive. @AlboMP

People can get pushed into more extreme positions because they can see criminals getting away with no punishment and a group of politicians who adopt a largely false persona or avatar of the average voter to keep serving up outdated neoliberal dogma in the age of inequality.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says Australians need to engage in respectful debate and act with kindness on social media, arguing that many people say things online they would never say to his face.

@potcalling @ausvstheagenda @AlboMP People who've had their payments cut off, those who live in smelly low quality private rentals, those who live in tents or on the streets, those unable to pay for rent or mortgage on their wages, those who can't access affordable aged care for their elderly loved ones...

@potcalling @ausvstheagenda @AlboMP Explanation: Activists (as a term of abuse) are the problem because they're generally asking very relevant questions about the direction of our country. Cordial respectful communication is good, but given the circumstances in which some on X live, unlikely.

This investigation is necessary. Some NSW #Police were brutal. Looked and behaved like the ICE thugs whom #Trump orders to assault people irresponsibly. Minn's legislation should also be tested in the courts. It is over the top. https://t.co/W1QehmkxY0

@Ben_Davison1 The Albanese government could have chosen to bring more jobs in house--but they didn't even though it would have cost them less-- a hell of a A LOT f...king less 💸💳💵than using contractors. The bastards don't pay any f---king tax!

Just a reminder that Chris Minns commenced his work to unseat Jodie McKay after she posted this comment about Palestine. He enlisted the support of the usual suspects, and the rest is history. His action now is the return on investment to get him into office. It paid off. #AUSPOL

"...and that is why I don't waste a single fucking moment...giving civil debate to the people who are supporting this." My moment came in 2017 watching the legions of supporters for Trump locking children in cages and deporting their parents with no records of who they were.
An American woman said: “I watched a young Gazan girl, the same age as my daughter, take her last breath on a dirty hospital floor. She lifted her tiny head, trying to give her mother a kiss. I am ready to dedicate every moment of my life to the freedom of Palestine.”

@RhondaGarad Penny Wong opposed same sex marriage until her leader told her she could support it. She’s no different on Israel & Palestine. She’s all thoughts & prayers. Sadly so many of us initially thought she was terrific. But she’s turned out to be just another politician playing the game
