This isn’t about resisting change. It’s about resisting chaos masquerading as efficiency. Eliminating support structures without replacement, firing trusted workers without process, and cutting off medical innovation while China surge ahead is not patriotic. It’s short-sighted.

Now, it’s being gutted. Grants have been canceled. Labs are closing. Career staff are being purged. Humanitarian programs were shut down. And Americans (not bureaucrats, but parents, cancer patients, your children) are the ones who will suffer the downstream consequences.

When reform crosses the line into self-destruction. Whether you agree with every past policy or not, NIH helped eliminate polio, decode the human genome, and lead global cancer & Alzheimer’s. That legacy didn’t belong to the left or the right. it belonged to America.

This isn't just a science problem. It's an America First problem. We need to hold our leaders accountable. The cost of losing this race isn’t just $$$s, it’s national security, job creation, and our children's future health. If we gut science, we gut American power.

Now, those investments are being cut. Grants killed with no explanation. Entire projects scrapped. Scientists demoralized. The pipeline of young American talent drying up. Meanwhile, China is doubling down on biotech, ready to take the lead we’re handing over.
