We are deeply disappointed by Labour's recent decision. Our pensioners deserve better support, and we cannot back a policy that falls short. We will vote against this move to protect their interests.
Cutting the Winter Fuel Allowance will put untold stress on pensioners. We all know that the Conservatives left public finances in a mess, but vulnerable older people should not be forced to choose between eating and heating this winter. Liberal Democrats will oppose this cut.
