We are devastated by the news that #RodOram has died in a cycling accident. Rod had just signed a publishing agreement with us & we were awaiting his manuscript with huge excitement. Rod was a much-needed voice of sanity and wisdom. We are weeping for his family and all Aotearoa.

This well-researched story by @rebeccamacfie that sheets home the blame for our current housing crisis to the ‘91 Bolger govt can’t be shared often enough imo. The Mother of all Budgets was a disaster that every generation since has been paying for.

An amazing book which received a wonderful reception at its launch on Sunday at Auckland Writers Festival.
Roderick Fry's debut novel 'A Message for Nasty' (@AwaPress) 'fills a huge gap in wartime literature, giving Western readers a glimpse of the little-told stories of Hong Kong at the time', according to our reviewer. Read our recently unlocked review: https://t.co/hO4xuXtgww
