I’ve been talking about flying taxis for 7.5 years now, and it’s mainly because of this @AvWeekGuy who I called up back in 2018 and asked if leaving Rolls-Royce for a startup was a good idea or not… fwiw, his advice was solid and he wasn’t wrong!

Once you’re lucky, twice you’re good. Boom test pilots won the Iven C Kincheloe award—the highest honor a test pilot can receive—two years in a row. I believe this is a first.

Symphony engine development is on fire—and it's about to be, literally. Single-nozzle combustion testing rig is getting set up and will be turning kerosene into human progress in next few weeks. Thx to @GeorgiaTech for awesome support with a world-class combustion lab.

Less than a week after Quarterhorse Mk 2 achieved weight on wheels we completed integration of the iconic Pratt & Whitney F100 engine. This is what it means to build fast. Next Up: Integrated systems testing.

I'm not sure how relevant the Harrier would be today ? Brilliant as the Harrier was ( even Bill Bedford said anyone can fly it - just has one extra lever the nozzles ).:) it needs a huge amount of back up to deploy into the field - still one of Britains greatest inventions
