Losing out on earnings bc there's no way to work full time. Adjustments in the household to accommodate for your conditions bc the way we build does NOT. Noise canceling items to reduce stimulation. Special diets (a HUGE one for me) There's SO MUCH expense in being disabled ๐
Did you know thereโs something called โdisability tax?โ Itโs paying extra money for things because youโre disabled. It could be medication, mobility aids, caregiving, and could cost hundreds to thousands of dollars. When we say being disabled is expensive, we arenโt exaggerating.
