AI sometimes feels like the fable the emperors new cloths. It is great when you are ok with wild inaccuracies. But i haven’t found AI good when I need things to be accurate. Does anyone know how to leverage AI to accomplish like complex tasks like analyzing tax docs?.

I’m an AI believer now. Used Gemini deep research several times this weekend to save probably a full day of time. Now if we can just get it to do my taxes I will be all in.

Made a connection today. The reason keeping up good documentation in programming is so hard is because it is a combination of the two hardest problems; naming things (putting words together) and cache invalidation (keeping it up to date).

Well written article on the power of using a framework (especially Ruby on Rails) and the ability it gives you to do both the simple and complex things as your needs change.

Brains are funny. Sometimes i can stare at an obvious programming bug for minutes or hours and not see it, come back fresh the next day and it is obvious.

My god, imagine being able to express your code in the language you want and then port it to the language that runs the context of your app the best.
