Yes UX Designers, ChatGPT can even write your daily standup briefings for you. But your team still needs you to act on the things you say. So don’t lose your sleep over it. #ChatGPT #uxdesign #uxui #ai #AI

If your job doesn’t make you second guess your role in the team, that’s a good thing. But if you’re not doing that anyway, are you (system-)thinking hard enough? Think critically. There’s always new grounds to cover. #uxdesign #ux #systemthinking #uxui

People broadly understand that designers "make designs" But a "design" is just an artifact documenting design decisions for some purpose. Most stakeholders request (and many designers make) artifacts without understanding *what the artifact will be used for*—making it useless.🧵

DESIGNERS Creativity is not linear. Design is not linear. That’s what makes your job harder to reward. It’s not just some syndrome. #uxdesign #ux #uxui #designthinking #creativity #quote

UX Designers - a true test for your creative thinking skills is how you would adopt AI - not in theory, but in practice. THAT is what will keep you afloat. Zoom out. Think. There’s always bigger problems to uncover and act on. #ai #uxdesign #uxui #design #designthinking

In an Agile environment, you’re frequently listing and checkboxing user stories. It is critical to not lose sight of what such increments do to the bigger picture. ⁦Jeff Patton’s Story Mapping is a simple way to keep that in check.

When I heard people talking about “story mapping” I was intrigued. Especially as they explained it as a way to bring user stories to life. A user story is a simple but very effective to…

My struggle as a UX designer in an Agile environment had been finding the right time/event to push for user-centric value choices and features in an actionable way. @jmspool @CenterCentre today dismantled the agile process and defined three key entry points for exactly that.

1. iOS must support PWA. It is the future given the blockchain tide. 2. Apple store doesn’t list web apps. And I don’t see that changing. 3. Integration of Web-push in Safari seems like a novel challenge from UX perspective.

Two things that all popular operating systems demand that their human users do and not let the computers do: 1. Assign data names and places to live. 2. Remember those names and places. 3

“Experience design, at its best, is medium-free.” There’s a bigger pool of challenges to design for. Thought A: Mobile-centric strategy can potentially tackle accessibility challenges in a standardised way. Thought B: There are inherent challenges in accessing a mobile itself.

The problem with a mobile strategy is it’s about the medium of delivery, not what is being delivered. It focuses on the technology questions. It doesn’t ask, what’s the best experience for the customer? https://t.co/0GeKTIWqps

This article by @jmspool makes for a good follow-up. Lends a perspective on why your team may be underestimating user research and how to tackle it. Takeaways- Prioritise user research, facilitate team’s exposure, build consensus in team, then design. https://t.co/ihERNIxPUo

And the other way in which Spotify Audio Aura can be informative - Telling you where your money went 🙃 Though I don’t quite understand why the algorithm at Echo Nest wouldn’t account for lyrics. Are lyrics not “reflective” enough?!

There’s a big chunk of tasks that get accomplished on my desktop. Nice to have features like habit-building, timed sessions, and music integrated into one context. Would like the same combination work across devices though (‘cos the other chunk of tasks get done on the move!).
