@HoustonRockets
Man I cannot wait till Alperen Şengün comes back and him and Jalen Green start balling together.
This “what have you done for me lately” recency bias takes that’s littered our community about Şengün is so stupid. I can’t comment on it any further.
NBA Suspensions:
Felony Domestic Violence- 10 games
Exposing yourself to women on multiple occasions- 4 games
Waving a gun on Instagram live- 25 games
Makes sense 👍🏾
Last year, we learned that Danuel House looked unstoppable in training camp.
That’s the moment I realized our team was complete trash
If you see a tweet that Garry Bird or Ja-Sean Tate look “unguardable” in practice this year, just know in your heart that the season is cooked
Stone has not missed drafting from 16-18 range so far. He traded up for Sengun and drafted Tari. If he wants to move up two picks to grab someone, I trust him
Jalen Green TS was 54.7%
Evan Mobley TS was 54.9%
Wild that our guard is so “inefficient” but was basically the same efficiency as a 7 foot center who took most of his shots at the rim 🤔
@Vator_H_Town
Another day where Rockets fans show that their addicted to Evan Mobley, even tho their poverty franchise had a chance to draft him and instead drafted a inefficient guard to pair up with their other inefficient guard
Jalen Green is destined to be a bench player because he’s scoring on a rebuilding team?
It feels like he’s screwed no matter what lol. Either he looks bad on a rebuilding team and is a bust or he plays well but the stats are “empty.” I guess until his team wins he’s a bad player
This comparison has been made a lot but I think it’s worth doing again:
Jalen Green:
15.4 Points
3.2 Rebounds
2.5 Assists
2.1 Turnovers
52.4 TS%
Devin Booker Rookie Year:
13.8 Points
2.5 Rebounds
2.6 Assists
2.1 Turnovers
53.5 TS%
Their numbers are damn near identical man
96th percentile is crazy, impressive af
I’ll say it a different way:
Did some quick math and that means Jalen was about the ~18th best iso scorer in the NBA at 19 years old (!!!)
Bright future 🔥 🔥 🔥
Mobley looked bad in Summer League while Jalen looked amazing. Come regular season and it flipped. Jabari is more conducive to an actual offense and he got punished for being unselfish tonight. He’ll look better, everyone needs to relax lol
@JEDl_1
Why you being so hostile lol
And I never said Harden > Wade? Or you talking to me or my entire fanbase?
Just saying, obviously Tim Duncan is greater all time cause his resume is insane. I don’t think Brad would debate that
Amen gets the steal and hits the game sealing layup. Guy on the other team shoves him and Ausar immediately starts talking shit to him lmao
It’s so easy to root for the twins
@mobleynation3
Yea I mean, if you want it in multiple stats here:
Jalen
2p 50%
3p 34%
FT 80%
Mobley
2p 54%
3p 25%
FT 66%
If Jalen is inefficient then what is Mobley exactly?
People keep referencing Jalen Green’s rookie season as “disappointing” and that feels weird
If I told you prior to last season he’d lead all rookies in 20 point games, 30 point games, and 40 point games while having the best efficiency of any young high volume guard is that bad?
I’m just at a loss with this Mobley excerpt from the Ringer. He’s a really really good player and I agree, he’s prob a perennial DPOY candidate.
But like, is there anyone who really thinks he’s a high-impact player on OFFENSE right now? That’s so absurd to say lol
One team had a preseason line of 48.5 wins and was the projected 3 seed:
Sitting at 42 wins and the 10th seed
One team had a preseason line of 31.5 wins and was the projected 13th seed:
Sitting at 38 wins and the 11th seed
One season is pretty clearly a disappointment lmao
Multiple Houston reporters have said that these leaks aren’t coming from them btw
Doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to see why “someone” keeps leaking apparently how sought after and valuable Mikal Bridges is lol
The Brooklyn Nets reportedly received multiple offers of FIVE first-round picks for Mikal Bridges, per
@HPbasketball
“Two league sources said the Nets have claimed multiple offers of five first-rounders for Mikal Bridges, but I'm pretty skeptical on that front. One, it might be…
@RooshWilliams
While starting two 21 year olds and a 20 year old
Oh, and two of those guys are Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun. Best defense in the NBA. Lol
This is not KPJ’s fault btw. We should always play through Sengun regardless of whether he’s on the floor or not
In fact, letting KPJ get more off ball reps would prob make him look even better
That Sengun midrange shot looked really familiar lol
Rudy Gobert just can’t guard the Rocket’s young core
Can’t wait to add Jabari to this highlight reel too🔥🔥🔥🔥
Milwaukee’s 3 point percentage ranks under Ben Sullivan:
2018- 20th- 35%
2019- 17th - 35.5%
2020 - 10th - 37.3%
Boston’s 3 point percentage ranks under Ben Sullivan:
2021 - 11th - 36%
2022- 6th - 37.4%
I’m excited to see what he can do here
People need to relax on Stephen Silas. Regardless of your opinion of his coaching ability, the stuff I’m seeing on the timeline tonight is disgusting. Have some empathy
Watching Sengun and Jalen go blow for blow with Jokic and Murray in the third quarter last night was really special
It’s far from certain either one of them gets close to those heights but for a quarter, it felt amazing. That 2-man game needs to be developed as much as possible
I understand the “superstar mentality” thing but like, Jalen made a fine play
Jock kicks it to the corner and that’s a 43% 3pt shooter taking a corner three. I’m happy with that, make or miss
Beyond Jalen simply playing incredible basketball, the other big factor with his leap is Amen Thompson, IMO.
That pairing is electric. The off-ball impact as a cutter, offensive rebounder, and transition threat. Can do heavy lifting on defense. Unlocks so much for Jalen.
Lebron at age 19-20 in the NBA which is Wemby’s age now:
27.2 ppg, 7.4 reb, 7.2 ast, 2.2 stl
Also played 80 games and 42.4 minutes per game
Wemby looks to be amazing, we don’t have to exaggerate for no reason
Brian Windhorst says 19-year-old Victor Wembanyama is more skilled than LeBron James was at 19
“His skill level is VASTLY advanced to where LeBron's was at the same age.”

Victor Wembanyama now owns the 2nd best odds to win DPOY, per
@BovadaOfficial
Rudy Gobert +550
Victor Wembanyama +750
Evan Mobley +800
Jaren Jackson Jr. +800
Anthony Davis +1000

I think Stone ensured that KPJ would start but a lot of the questionable decisions are still on Silas
I don’t think Stone has benched Sengun, ran this offensive and defensive scheme, taught in practice, etc. That is still Silas and is enough for me to want him gone personally
As someone that's been down on Silas I think it's now very clear he's not allowed to coach the team, so we have no way to fully assess if he's good or not. He's being set up to fail and that doesn't sit well with me.
I think an important distinction to make here is that the Rockets can’t cut him or suspend him or punish him until the NBA reaches a verdict
This is the fastest way to get him the fuck away from my team and I’m all for it
Rockets working to trade Kevin Porter Jr. along with draft compensation in wake of charges of felony assault and strangulation due to alleged attack on girlfriend, per sources.

If the Rockets continue to play super close games that are decided in the last two minutes, you’ll have nights like last night
So far we are 2-2 in close games like that. Both our close losses have happened cause a 20 year old and 21 year old made mistakes
Still a young team
Jalen being ass and us still winning games is weirdly encouraging
His process been much better and once he starts hitting the shots, team could have another gear to hit
Fred VanVleet is out without a timetable for return… Here’s the timetable for adductor strains:
Grade 1 — Up to 2 weeks
Grade 2 — Up to 3-6 weeks
Grade 3 — Up to 4 months
Hoping he’s back soon.
Bro real talk: I’ve doubted Sengun since the moment we drafted him and he keeps making me look dumb
He’s the antithesis of everything I like when looking at draft prospects and yet…. He’s just a fucking baller man lol
@BiasedHouston
You can look at this both ways too. Tari and Jabari gonna have to guard Jalen Green in practice lol, every other guard gonna look slow to them 😂😂
Jalen Green
I feel like about half of my tweets are about this guy lol. Best scorer in his class and proved it definitively post All-Star break
